I didn't even know Radio Shack was still open. Found them and they worked hard to find me 16 eternity cables that I needed. The staff was super friendly and eager to assist. They have so much cool stuff in there I was amazed. Definitely everyone should stop in ans check out the wide selection of items and say hello to the cutest little puppy by the front door.
Will definitely be going back soon.
What a great store and amazing employees!!

This place is great, they didn’t have the cord I needed, but they were able to fix my cord instead, very helpful!

WARNING - 10 day returns + 10% fee. Very low quality products, incorrect product specs, way overpriced, poor return policy. I like buying local, but go somewhere else for electronics.
Bought a few products for data transfer - a friendly RadioShack personally helped me pick out the “correct” products, even though the packages don’t list specs. He said “these should work, but if they don’t, you can always just return them, as long as it’s within 30 days.” They were over double the price of low performance products, so I trusted him.
Turns out they’re just way overpriced low performance cheap products. 1.) They were an order of magnitude less than what I needed; and 2.) Even the specs listed on the package were half the performance.
I hate returning stuff to begin with, but I tried returning one of the unused products a week & a half later. The rep then said “you can technically return within 30 days, but you can only get store credit.” Plus I would be charged a “10% restocking fee,” even though I could literally see the product hangers and take 3 steps to restock it myself (I totally understand that policy for a warehouse, but it’s a tiny RadioShack store…). The original rep failed to mention all that. But my fault for not checking the print at the bottom of the receipt after I walked out. I’m now stuck with junk products.
Complete waste of money & time buying / returning. I still try to purchase locally, but will avoid RadioShack.

This store doesn't even resemble what it did 10 years ago. Back then you could buy quite a few different kinds of electronic components and stuff was (somewhat) affordably priced. When I went to buy some hook-up wire for electronics prototyping, they didn't even have reels of wire. All they had were lengths of pre-cut wire. $17 for a box of wire that sold for $12 on Amazon and $4 on AliExpress. Their wire is cheap, flimsy, and bends when I try to put it into the breadboard. On top of that, it's ALUMINUM, not copper, and solder won't stick to it.
If you want to experience the old RadioShack, go the MSU's EE department stockroom in Cobleigh Hall. They'll probably have what you need.
