As I was going to donate 4 contractor sized bags of clothes along with a box of shoes. I went to the drop off spot asked where the man wanted me to put them. He was nothing but rude, snarky, and petty. Telling me “I’m looking at the same thing as you” when I politely asked if I should set it outside or inside the door. So I grabbed my box and left I’m not gonna support a business that isn’t kind to the people donating their belongings.

I really love Sacks! They have a good variety of odds and ends and they don’t inflate their prices like other thrift stores! They have lots of fun things to look at. It is always worth the trip in one way or another!

First, I will mention that I have never given anyone a bad review. This morning I called ahead and asked if I may drop off a few boxes since I only have Mondays off. The lady on the phone told me that it would be fine. When I arrived at Sacks I went in and confirmed that I was good to drop off the boxes. The lady said I was. I began to unload what I had. All of a sudden a different lady came out and began yelling at me, "Don't you see the signs 'No Dumping?" I said. "Yes", but that I had called ahead and asked the lady at the desk for permission. She yelled, "Well, I'm in charge and you may not leave it." I started to gather my things and then she said, "Well, we'll take those two boxes. The rest I'm not taking." I regret leaving any of it. It's so easy to be kind. She made me feel small. I would take your business elsewhere.

Sack’s has a decent variety and an ever-changing selection of clothes & wares for extremely low prices. Volunteers are super friendly and the store is clean, but slightly untidy. A really good staple thrift store in Bozeman.

I used to and honestly still do love sacks in some ways. However, like others have sited the prices have been increasing and it’s becoming less easy to find cool and cheap purchases. Which is why I loved sacks so much. However, this isn’t why I have given a one star review. That comes from a purchase I made today. I bought a pc monitor for 10$ today, there was no signs stating that they had not tested these goods. So I in good faith assumed that sacks would not sell any sort of technology without first testing it. However after getting it home and powering the monitor up I immediately saw that the entire bottom right of the screen was broken. I think it is outrageous that they let technology be sold for anything above a dollar or two that is untested. As simply plugging in the power cable (which I had to buy separately for some reason) would have shown the obvious flaw. Very disappointed.
