The hit show “Yellowstone” is filming multiple scenes in the city of Hamilton, including some of its buildings like City Hall.

Film location might not come to mind when you think of Hamilton, but for “Yellowstone,” it’s an ideal spot.

“They want to use a lot of different sites to film their show, and of course the city of Hamilton, we have really nice streets, really nice parks, really nice buildings, and so they are able to come in and look at those and say with a few small modifications we can make this work for our set,” Hamilton Mayor Dominic Farrenkopf said.

He says that’s a great thing for the city. Between renting City Hall and the Justice Center, Hamilton made $24,000.
